Weekly Mass

Each Friday we come together as a school to celebrate Mass. Each grade level takes turns throughout the year hosting the ministries of the Mass. They coordinate everything from the lectors, to altar servers, to prayer petitions. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to share in this special time with us. Additionally, we have Mass on Holy Days of Obligation. On Fridays during Lent, we pray the Station of the Cross together as a school.
Altar ServersAll Catholic students in good standing are welcome to serve as altar servers for St. Mary’s Cathedral School and Parish in Grades 3-5. Altar Servers who attend St. Mary’s Cathedral Church also assist the priests during services at St. Mary’s, including Sunday Masses and Funerals. Registration and training for new servers takes place in the Fall of each year with servers making a one year commitment to serve in the school and parish.
